The idea of dedicating a baby to the Lord can certainly be found in the Bible. Hannah was a barren wife who promised to dedicate her child to God if He would give her a son (1 Samuel 1:11). Luke 2:22 begins the account of Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the Temple after forty days in order to dedicate Him to the Lord.

A Baby Dedication at CCCB is when we invite the family and their new baby in front of the congregation to pray over the child, that they would faithfully follow Jesus. We also pray over the parents that they would be faithful examples and disciple their child according to God’s word. We also have gifts for the family!

Kids ages 0 - 2 are eligible for a Baby Dedication.
